With seasonal milking, we allow our Golden Guernseys to taper off their lactation so that over the winter all their nutrients will go toward easier pregnancies, healthier calves born in the spring, and cows in better physical condition.
Unfortunately, this means we will not be pasteurizing or bottling milk from Thanksgiving 2023 until sometime in the early spring of 2024.
No more pre-orders for milk can be accepted. Subscription customers will have one last order processed. The rest of the milk will be sold at the farm on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Germantown Milk Pick Up Customers
The last Pick Up in Germantown will be on Friday, November 24th.
If you are unable to pick up on that day, please let us know.
Any orders not picked up will be canceled and refunded, not held for pick up at the store.
Resumption of Milk Production
Once enough cows give birth in the spring, we will resume milk production, we will beging pasteurizing and bottling.
Once that happens, we will send out an email.
